This is Caroline: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/975025_Caroline

Apparently "As some may know, the saloon is named after Caroline Mayo, a long time employee of the RTC who died of cancer in 2019. There is a photograph of her and explanatory plaque on board." https://revolutiontrains.com/tag/975025/

Where can I find a schedule for Caroline?

There are some days that nothing happened in public transport ... then there are others on which there are multiple "on this day" happenings.   12th December is one of the latter

On 12th December 2008, "Caroline" was designated for preservation.  Something I noted when I was correlating data last year, but the web site it was listed on - preserved thumpers - has gone away. Maybe moved, maybe lost - perhaps members can tell me more about Caroline?

On 12th December 2016, Platform 0 at Doncaster was opened by Transport Minister at the time Andrew Jones who clearly enjoyed the experience - "It is a pleasure to be here in Doncaster, officially opening this new platform ..." from the Doncaster Free Press which is free to view and (health warning) not free from adverts!

And - sadly - 12th December 1988 is the day of the major collision at Clapham Junction where 39 people were killed when a train running under clear signals ran into the back of another.   The magnitude of this and the consequences on people, as well as on ongoing rail safety, dwarf those other two reports to the extent that they hardly belong in the same thread.  We have discussed Clapham in the past ... official report mirrored (here) ...
