Closer to GWR-land, 'Sutton Harbour Railway Station' on a 1:500 map listed as surveyed in 1893.

Presumably this was never for passengers, as, outside the station throat, the trackwork has a surprise.

That map's the 1853 one, which perhaps explains some "primitive" features of the track. The 1894 town plan, and most other maps, do mark that station as "(goods)".

Quite a walk from Bradford's city centre, but still only closed as a passenger station in the 1860s - after which it had a long life handling goods traffic. The gradient into the terminus caused the occasional entertainment. At least, I hope no one was hurt.

16th September 1863 - 160 years ago today - Truro (Newham) station was bypassed ...
