Fare and railcard increases on 2nd March 2025

So back to RPI+1% again.....
It added that the £5 rise in the cost of railcards - which provide discounts for different groups of people - would be subject to an industry review.
Be interested to know why this is - Chancellor states that she would entertain a request for an increase if operators were to ask for it. Why would they when there's nothing in it for them? But I reckon it's a dead cert frankly.
Regulated fares are to increase by 4.6% and most railcards by £5.
