And there is still the entrance from the end of platform 11/12 into the new shopping concourse which will improve Bakerloo access even more

Such an improvement on what was there before.  The whole area of the ramp up to Praed Street has been transformed.  Gone is the stark brick wall, in its place a bright open area with seating and a new area over three floors with restaurants, shops and the new large tube entrance.

I agree, IndustryInsider: frankly, that ramp was previously ghastly - not a 'welcome to London' for any visitors arriving.

As part of the Paddington Square development, a new entrance for the Bakerloo line at Paddington has been opened. Step free access to the Bakerloo line platforms has been provided. This entrance has effectively replaced the one that used to be between the top of the old cab road and London St.
