LNER coming to GWR, like LMS did on this day in 1948
As at 21st November 2024 12:43 GMT
Is it my imagination, or is the East Coast Main Line operator trying to take over the West of England main line?. Have they done so anyway, with the LNER operator (HM Government) operating the GWR via a tight straightjacket of micromanagement on GWR? https://twitter.com/LNER/status/1659151890683248640
Nothing new - from "On this day" - "LMS Coronation Class 46236 City of Bradford on GWR " - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Locomotive_Exchange_Trials - 19th May 1948.
