With good weather and a big event on Weymouth beach today, might need a few taxis:

09:08 Bristol Temple Meads to Weymouth due 11:44
09:08 Bristol Temple Meads to Weymouth due 11:44 will be cancelled.

This is due to a shortage of train crew.

Taxis (Bath Taxis) will leave Westbury at 10:10 calling at Frome (10:25), Bruton (10:45), Castle Cary (10:57), Yeovil Pen Mill (11:26), Thornford (11:34), Yetminster (11:37), Chetnole (11:44), Maiden Newton (12:00), Dorchester West (12:17), Upwey (12:29) and Weymouth (12:38 arrival).

Road transport pick up/drop off points can be found on the Information poster at stations or online at nre.co.uk/stations.

Oh dear ... I went to Weymouth yesterday and while our 3 carriage trains (the 08:44 from Swindon was not rammed, it was not quiet either.   And that was the summer Saturday extra service that helps make for a much more frequent Saturday than Sunday service.

Noting that the taxis are expected into Weymouth nearly an hour after the train is due - a really good way to take the stuffing out of a day trip.
