About the Coffee Shop Forum
• We opened in 2007 as an 18 week project.
• Here we are still running nearly 18 years later.
• We are delighted with that, and here to stay!
This new "phone" version is read only - go ((here)) to interact.

The old site is just as relevant today as it always was - indeed more so as we have a database of thousands of subjects you can search with around another hundred subjects added each month [Recent new topics]

We have made a number of significant changes, but the software is old and the content frightens security packages. It also originates from "Desktop days" and is a bit clunky on phones and pads.

We do not hold or transmit any personal data and believe our site remains safe under "http" protocol as well as "https" and so we invite you to visit the old site, accepting any warnings you may get, via [[here]] to the insecure version of https://greatwesternrailway.info/?topic=29374.msg353270

As we upgrade and modernise the protocols, we'll be making a number of other changes too. You'll start to see it looking better on smaller screens such as you have on a phone, and you'll be asked for cookie consent (that's under test)- when we have that we'll be able to do other things too!

The Coffee Shop forum is provided by customers of Great Western Railway (formerly First Great Western). The views expressed are those of the individual posters concerned. Visit https://www.gwr.com for the official Great Western Railway website. Please contact the administrators of this site if you feel that the content provided by one of our posters contravenes our posting rules ( graham AT sn12.net ).

Although we are planning ahead, we don't know what the future will bring here in the Coffee Shop. We have domains "firstgreatwestern.info" for w-a-y back and also "greatwesternrailway.info"; we can also answer to "greatbritishrailways.info" too. For the future, information about Great Brisish Railways, by customers and for customers.
